How do I schedule an appointment?

You may reach the Appointment Desk by dialing 850-595-6554 or visit the Escambia County Health Department main facility (1295 West Fairfield Drive, Pensacola) Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. The Appointment Desks are located in the yellow section of the main hallway.

Where can I find information on eligibility?

Please call 850-595-6554 for additional information on Eligibility. After you have scheduled your Eligibility  appointment, the clerk will inform you of any documents you need to bring for your appointment.

How do I receive dental services?

To receive dental services you must be on Medicaid. You can make an appointment at the dental section or you can call 850-595-6600 to make an appointment. If you or your child is in pain, an emergency appointment consisting of an x-ray and possibly a prescription for infection can be obtained.

Children and Adults

What dental services are provided?

We provide comprehensive dental treatment to children up to 20 years old. The dental clinic accepts Straight Medicaid (also known as Fee-For-Service), DentaQuest, and Healthy Kids.

We provide limited services to adults 21 and older on Medicaid. Emergency treatment and extractions are the only services offered.
