Immunizations

The Escambia County Health Department has placed great emphasis on increasing accessibility and availability of immunizations for children and adults. All child and adolescent immunizations in accordance with the Bureau of Immunizations Schedule and the Florida School Guidelines are available to eligible children ages 0-18 free of charge.
 The immunization department works closely with the Immunization Coalition and the Kiwanis Club of Pensacola to increase vaccination rates among children and adolescents.

Immunizations Schedule

Seasonal Flu Vaccine Available
- No charge
- Injectible vaccine available to children aged 3-18 years
- Nasal mist vaccine available to healthy people age 2-49 years

Immunization for Traveler

The health department is a designated travel center. Travel information is based on the CDC’s Travelers’ Health recommendations.

Shot Mobile

The health department operated a mobile immunization van “the Shotmobile” that is staffed by an outreach team to provide vaccinations at various sites in the county.
